Newtan B. Thevarajah

Barrister & Solicitor, Notary Public

Newtan is the Principal Lawyer and Founder of Thevans Law. He was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2018 and founded Thevans Law in 2019.

Newtan obtained his Juris Doctor from Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. During law school, Newtan interned with the Bronx Legal Aid Society in the Criminal Defence Practice and with the Hofstra Law Criminal Justice Clinic. He was also a Student Advocate for the Unemployment Action Center and was the Senior Articles Editor for the Hofstra Law Review.

Newtan is a member of the Criminal Lawyers' Association, the Ontario Bar Association, and the Canadian Bar Association.
